Nice to meet you. My name is Rachel Kuehnel. I am a graphic designer currently based in Detroit Michigan. I specialize in interactive design and print. I love projects where I can make with my hands. In fact, all of my projects begin with a series of pencil sketches. I have found there is no replacement for printed tests during the creative process. In the end, I find nothing more fulfilling than seeing my work out and about being enjoyed by others. I also have a soft spot for animals and am always interested in seeing a pet pic. I try to incorporate them into my designs if the brief fits. I am intrigued by a range of topics from embroidery to miniature painting. These hobbies let me sweat the small stuff and provide a break from the computer. In these hobbies, and my work, I find myself always learning and applying new techniques. I thrive in a small team environment where I can bounce ideas off others and learn from them. I work best in a quiet environment free from distractions for a few periods of time. After the work is completed, I love bantering with co-workers. Above all, I am exicted to start my creative journey.
